I'm just getting ideas of how I'd like the composition to head.
The greenery has been basically blocked in for the most part.
Somehow the distant Panda moved around on me, so I'll have to work on it again some more.
Something is bothering me with the foreground Bamboo stalk as well as other aspects of the composition.
I'll have to let this piece sit for a few days and figure out the direction that I'd like to go with it.
After adding a base coat to the Main Panda and checking out some reference material, it occurred to me that the foreground Bamboo stalk just wasn't right.
I've also decided on adding an extra element to the painting. A Stream in between the two Pandas created the element of depth and distance between the two Bears.
Well, I've re-worked the distant Panda and added some eyes and a bit more color and shading to the main Panda, along with re-working the stream and adding some foreground foliage to tie everything together nicely. I'm pleased with the results as was the customer.
