Work in Progress
| A cold Winter climate would tend to have the color Blue in it and something in my personal preference wants to add some Purple as well.
The hint of a basic background is added. |

I timidly add some colors to the Wolf's coat and eyes as well as the background which I felt was maybe a little too Purple. |
|
| Here you may notice that the fur seems a bit more fluffed?
I've gone back throughout the entire animal with darker colors which when applied in key areas seem to make the fur stand up. I've also added some warmer colors to the muzzle area to bring some life into this animal along with creating an interesting contrast from the background colors. |

| I've spent the final day going into much detail with the Wolf's fur and eyes (highlighting and shadowing certain areas) A bit more work was also done with the background, which I felt may now not have had enough White in it for a Winter scene.
I think this one is now completed. Hmmm...now I'd like to, and will do another painting with a Wolf or two in it. This one will be much larger (maybe 36x48) and show the full bodies of the wolves. Thanks for following along with the progress pictures, I hope you enjoyed them! |
